Early Looks at PC Games & New Mobile Game

It’s an exciting day at My.com!

Today we announced that our games portfolio is expanding into the PC video game realm with three new PC game announcements. At Game Developers Conference 2014 in San Francisco, we showed for the first time, our massively multiplayer online (MMO) games that will provide entertainment and social experiences across multiple game genres and platforms. They include Armored Warfare, Skyforge and World of Speed.

We continue releasing exciting mobile games too; we also announced Evolution, our new, real-time role-playing game for iOS devices.

The expansion of myGames into the PC game world is an important milestone in the vision of building a communication and entertainment platform. Our work in the PC game world leverages the extensive experience of our parent company, Mail.ru Group, who has created over 30 online games to date.

From Russia with Love

Hello – we’ve come halfway around the world to meet you!

We are a group of developers, designers and artists who love creating new ways to work and play on mobile devices. Just like you, we love that we can do almost anything on our devices, but just because technology gets more powerful doesn’t mean it should be more complex.

Although our office is located in Silicon Valley, many of us work in Moscow at Mail.Ru Group where we are the largest Internet company in Russian-speaking countries. We have a worldwide community of more than 100 million fans who use our services every month and this has given us tons of experience in communications and gaming. Based on the feedback our community of fans provide and using our 15 years of experience, we’ve began the development of new products for the U.S. market.

Being the geeks that we are, we set out to develop really useful apps that will be powerful enough for a power user and at the same time, not too complicated for his grandma. In other words, we wanted our apps to look sleek and be easy to use, while offering a host of features for those looking for them.

Today, we announce myMail and myChat, apps that do exactly what you need them to do.

Check them out – we would love to hear what you think.

We are thrilled that millions of people are already enjoying myGames on iOS and Android — games like Jungle Heat, Poker Arena, and Lucky Fields.

This blog is where we’ll talk about personal technology, new advancements and innovation that excite us, things that we’re working on, share lessons learned (so you don’t have to) and maybe some of the Russian-American cultural similarities we’re discovering each day – we have more in common than you think! And we want to hear from you as well, so don’t be shy in the comments below. Let’s learn from each other.

Now that you know a little bit about us, don’t be a stranger. We look forward to getting to know you better.
