myMail – Now Supports Microsoft Exchange, iOS 8 updates

Some cool things have come to myMail in the latest update!

You  may have noticed something new on the myMail home screen: the Microsoft Exchange logo has been added. That’s right, myMail now supports Microsoft Exchange with Active Sync. When you tap on the Microsoft Exchange logo, the familiar screen appears asking for email address/password. myMail will attempt to connect automatically using typical connection settings. For many, this means you are done and can now access your Exchange email account.

If myMail is unable to connect automatically, you will see a new screen prompting you to enter connection settings. See the image below. Here you can enter your domain login (if required), the host domain server and if encryption is required (SSL).

For iOS 8 users, myMail supports the larger iPhone screen sizes and interactive notifications. myMail also supports attachments for other apps.

    Hi,

Any news on this topic ?
    How does it work ?
If not now – any future plans that this feature will be available ?

Hi, Android 5.0.1 Huawei P8, can’t login to Exchange account. There is no place to input server name etc. I’ve tried to give mistaken email adress and no advanced window open. What’s wrong?

It is a big lie and sadness , myMail does not work with Exchange. :(

I can’t use my.com with my corporate exchange account i receive message to check my user and password but everithing is ok! Any news about it?

I cannot get this working either. It has an option for SSL but how does it handle self signed certificates? There is no option to ignore certificate errors. I suspect this is why its not working for many people.

I have tried a number of different settigns and cannot get this to work at with Active Sync at all

Doesn’t work and doesn’t bring up second screen as suggested

Unfortunately, it does NOT support Exchange Servers with ActiveSync at all, as far as I can tell. I can get my work email up and running on literally every other email app, but not MyMail. Pity.

    Why I can`t see it ?

    • I noticed that you can trick it into showing the extra options by forcing a little typo in the email address, yet I had no success after filling in all the other info either.

I cannot get it working – when I select Exchange, I get only the email address + password data to enter. After I try to sign in, “incorrect user name or password” is shown – the login and server settings options are not displayed. How to enter these details??

That’s great the application supports Exchange servers. However, it does not work with them very good. In my case, although I have marked all messages as read (which I should not have done in the first place since the had been marked as read before being downloaded to myMail) the application is still showing that all of them are unread. In addition to that problem, the application does not download messages from any other folders other than Inbox.

It works great with Mail.ru server though!

I seriously love the app. It is functional and beautiful to look at. The only thing I am missing is being able to add multiple signatures different email addresses within ONE account. Why? I sometimes have two or three aliases within the same account and would like to reply with different signatures and addresses depending on which email address they were sent to in the first place. But for people with only one name & signature per email address: Awesome!

Thanks. That is an interesting feature and I will pass it along to the development team. Feedback and feature requests are always appreciated. You can also send them in using the ! icon in the app.
