Today, we’ll take a thorough look at how to optimize your work with email by using push notifications in myMail. This is especially relevant for those who get many messages from different senders and need to respond immediately to some of them.
Both Android and iOS have default email clients, and, admittedly, they are okay — for somebody who does not use email very often. However, if you check your email on your phone or tablet even once a week, you will certainly not be satisfied with a pre-installed app that “can do everything, but on a basic level.” Using a default email client is like eating with a plastic fork from a paper plate: you could suffer through it, but why should you? Especially when you know there is convenient tableware out there (and user-friendly and powerful email apps).
In November 2013, we launched myMail in the US and later globally. Many have said that email is dead or dying and wondered why we would spend effort in this area. We have always believed that email is the perfect tool for communicating but had been around for a while without much innovation. It’s why we created myMail. In addition to getting feedback from myMail customers, we are always interested in how email impacts our daily lives. We asked 1000 internet users in the USA about their email habits.
In some areas, like a shift to mobile, we were not surprised. But in other areas we were amazed. We think you will be too.
