Our experts estimated Russian online games market. In 2015, its volume totaled 51.9 billion rubles (+2% compared to the previous year). The number make it perfectly clear where the growth lies: mobile games segment has increased by 20%.
According to myMail internal statistics, 80% of files sent via email are images. We, too, send dozens of templates, prototypes, and screenshots every day. Naturally, we wanted to make such a common use case more convenient, — so we did. As a result, sending photos and videos via our iOS app is much quicker and more convenient than via our competitors’ apps. For example, you only need to make five taps in myMail to attach three photos to a message. This is 10 taps less than in Gmail and as much as 13 less than in Apple Mail. Let us tell you where this idea came from, and how we brought it to life.
We have developed the first mobile app in the world that uses neural network algorithms to process short videos in the style of paintings of famous artists and any source images. Artisto is available in the App Store and Google Play in all countries. For free, of course.
In the previous post we briefly touched on the topic of how much a feature such as push notifications can change the way you work with your email on mobile. Today, we’ll take a thorough look at how to optimize your work with email by using push notifications in myMail. This is especially relevant for those who get many messages from different senders and need to respond immediately to some of them.
The newest AppsFlyer Performance Index ranks myTarget as #1 in Europe for game apps in terms of retention on both iOS and Android, higher than Google AdWords, Twitter, and Facebook. Right after the winner of MAPS.ME logo design contest was announced, a discussion of projects ensued in the comments section. We decided to join it and share some details on how we evaluated the logos, which ones made it to our top 10 and what exactly we liked about them.
Both Android and iOS have default email clients, and, admittedly, they are okay — for somebody who does not use email very often. However, if you check your email on your phone or tablet even once a week, you will certainly not be satisfied with a pre-installed app that “can do everything, but on a basic level.” Using a default email client is like eating with a plastic fork from a paper plate: you could suffer through it, but why should you? Especially when you know there is convenient tableware out there (and user-friendly and powerful email apps).
A new iOS version for myMail has been released. Below we describe the main, new features.
- AirPrint Support
- Change Phone Number for @my.com Account
- Change or Delete a @my.com Account
- Passbook Support
Now that you have a myMail @my.com email address, here are some tips to help you get the most out of your account.
Tip #1 – Create folders
Your @my.com account comes with standard folders: Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Spam and Trash. However, you can create additional folders for storing read email and for filtering incoming email directly to folders (you’ll see why this is a good thing in tip #3).
Settings > Folders > Choose Account
Choose your @my.com account. Select the + sign and give your folder a name. Select OK. Your folder now appears in the list of folders. At any time you can edit the folder name or delete the folder. Deleting a folder will delete all messages in that folder so you will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
